Viknesh is the founder of San Francisco film production company, A Viknesh Island Production, formed in 2014, and has been writing, producing, and directing short films and feature-length films since 2000. Having graduated from a polytechnic with an engineering diploma, Viknesh educated himself on filmmaking by reading, watching behind the scene videos, enrolling in workshops and working on numerous sets as a production assistant, all done while serving in the Republic of Singapore Navy as a Naval Combat Systems S
